Dr. Serge Geffrard
Dr Serge Geffrard is a native of Haiti. He migrated to the United States at age 15 and lived in South Florida during his high school years. After graduating from South Plantation high school, he attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies and graduated cum laude with bachelor of science degree in Biochemistry and was admitted to the University of Florida National Honor Society. After finishing his undergraduate studies, he stayed at the University of Florida for medical school. He completed his residency in combined internal medicine and pediatrics (Med-Peds) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital. In 2006, he moved to Georgia and joined Georgia Pediatric Cardiology. In 2017, he founded Children's Heart Specialists of Georgia. Dr Geffrard is married to Tamareeshi Geffrard and they are the proud parents of Julienne and Jeremiah Geffrard.

Dr Geffrard has been involved in medical mission trips to Haiti since his sophomore year of medical school. In 2004, he and Dr Ming Young founded Project Haiti Heart, a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to provide medical care to the people of Haiti.
Dr Geffrard is board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and internal medicine.
